MO MALONE

Who was Mo Malone?
I didn't know who he was until I searched some information about him in the Internet.

Mo Malone or Moses Eugene Malon, was born in Petesburg, Virginia, on 23rd Mars, 1955, and he died in Norfolk, Virginia, on 13th September, 2015 at the age of sixteen. He died because of a heart attack while he was sleeping.
He was a professional basketball player who served in both the NBA (National Basketball Association) and the ABA (American Basketball Association) from 1974 through 1995.
He also won lots of awards during his career. In fact, Malone won an NBA championship in 1983.

In my opinion, Mo Malone was a great basketball player and it's a pity that he died so young. However, we have also good basketball players, like Pau Gasol or Rudy Fernandez.

THIS IS ME, BY MARIA JOSE

To begin with, I'm going to write about my image. In my opinion, I'm trendy. I almost always wear T-shirts and jeans that suit me, although I wear smart clothes on special ocassions like Christmas Eve or New Year. I sometimes wear make-up. However, I never wear a bracelet or a necklace.

What things do I love doing? I really love getting up late on Saturday and Sunday mornings. It's fantastic! I also love metting my friends at the wekend, and going shopping. The other thing I love is my mobile. I can't live without it! I really love taking photos of me and my friends.

On the contrary, there are also things that I hate. I hate studying and doing my homework, but I always do them, because I want to pass my exams. If I get good results, I get a university degree in some years. Because of it, I will win lots of money. An other thing that I really hate is boring people. When I'm with that kind of people I'm so bored that I'd just go to sleep.

NO SMOKING: Drive me home, Daddy!!

In the UK, there are about 10,000 million adult smokers and most of them also smoke while they're driving, although children come along with them.
I reckon it's a great idea this new law of England and Wales of not smoking in cars with children. In my opinion there should be a similar law in Spain.
Drivers and passengers that break the law could face a fine of £50.
Because of the parents who smoke in cars, children become passive smokers, and they might have asthma, meningitis, etc.
I think it's also good that the law says that it's banned to smoke even if windows are open, because smoke can stay in the air for up to two and a half hours even windows are open.
But, I don't entirely agree with the law when it says "Whenever an under -18 is in the car, smokers will still be liable even if windows are down or sunroof open". I reckon if the teenager that goes in the car also smokes, the driver shouldn't be fined.

But this isn't the only problem, lots of people die each year because of smoking and doing other activities that can distract you while you're driving. In addiction, smoking can distract drivers.

Do you really want this?
