THE SEVERAL PROBLEMS OF POLLUTION
The objective of this essay is to discuss the main causes of pollution. In the next paragraphs I'm going to write about one of the main causes which is the transport, the pollution in seas and rivers and the consequences for people.
It is an open secret that the transport is one of the main causes of pollution. Big cities like Madrid are places where pollution is more serious due to the large number of people who use the car everyday. This is why a lot of organizations organise protests, marches whose objetive is that people pay more attention to this issue.
There are a number of effects due to pollution like the damage to the environment and the rivers and seas are the most affected. This is because of the rubbish that people and factories throw which affect the life of animals and people.
In consequence when people go to the beach they can't swim because of the large amount of rubbish. Other consequence due to the transport is the air pollution that creates several illnesses.
To conclude, I think that we have to raise awareness and try to do something for changing these alarming problems, as it's our responsability and by the time we are old we will be able to say that we have looked after the planet.

MY SUMMER HOLIDAYS
Summer holidays are about to end. How sad it is to return to the routine again! This summer has been one of the best summers I remember since I've done lots of funny things.
I have spent most of my summer in my swimming pool where we sunbathe, relax or play with a ball or cards. In fact, I gave two parties in it where we had a lot of fun. Another thing I've done a lot this summer is going to the beach, since we went with our Molvizar's friends who have a car and in the evening, we used to eat a kebab in Salobreña. Moreover, this summer I had my hair cut as I had it too long and my parents wanted me to have it cut.
One of the days I've enjoyed the most this summer is when my friends and I went to Playa Granada to surf as there were too many waves, although we had never tried it. I have always wanted to go surfing. If you asked me what water sport I would like to take up, I'm sure I'll probably choose surfing. The other day I enjoyed the most was when I was with muy family in Cazorla, as we used to go there every summer since I was very little and I hadn't gone for about two years. It could be said that the camping where I used to go in Cazorla takes a big part of muy childhood. I have lots of great memories there, so it was very exciting to visit it once again.
To sum up, I have done plenty of things this summer, except studying and advance work for the next school year. However, I've passed my Philosophy exam, so I can still rest for a few more days.

What would you like your funeral to be like?
If I had to define what a funeral is, I would say that it's a traditional and usually sad ceremony in which the family of the person who has died gather to observe his corpse. Funerals have been done since ancient times, that is to say, for such a long time. They were done to remember and respect the dead and the family usually made them monuments, prayers, and rituals undertaken in their honor.
Although most people think about a funeral as a sad ceremony where all the relatives and friends of the dead arrive in black and take seats in a church, there are other fascinating funeral traditions from all around the world, in cities such as New Orleans, where funerals strike a unique balance between joy and grief or South Korea, where families usually opt for ashes in colours turquoise, pink, black, etc. However, the place where I love the funerals the most is Ireland, since instead of crying, they give a party to celebrate and share the moments they had lived with the dead. I'd prefer this kind of funeral to a Spanish one, as I would like that my relatives had a great time with music I used to listen to and things I used to do. I don't put up with funerals where all the people are crying. How depressing it is!

MY FAVOURITE TV PROGRAMME
My favourite TV programme is called "La Que se Avecina", which is a very popular comedy in all the country. It's shown on FDF everyday at noon and in the evening. This series is characterized by satirising with black humor the relationships between the neighbours of a community because of the surreal situations that happen to them. These difficult situations make their lives difficult and make the programme so funny.
"La Que se Avecina" premiered on 22nd April, 2007 with good audience records. Since then, there have been ten seasons and soon it will be its tenth anniversary. Currently, this TV programme is one of the most seen and longest run in Spain, only surpassed by "Tell me how it happened" and it has more and more audience.
The thing I like the least of this TV series is that many of the same episodes are repeated. I've seen one episode so many times that I can say it by heart. And the character who doesn´t convince me is "Doña Fina". She's an elderly woman who makes her neighbours' life impossible. For this reason, I don't like her at all, but I reckon that she's fundamental for the programme.
All in all, I'd recommend this comedy both for young people and adults as it's very funny, interesting and entertaining to see the misfortunes that happen to the neighbours and watch how they try to solve them. Personally, I think that the actors that appear in the series are absolutely fantastic!
